Dear Recruiter:
Welcome to my job application pages. If your company is looking for a creative hardware/system design engineer please continue reading. On these pages you will find my resume and contact address.
In March 2000 I will be graduating from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. At present, I am maintaining an institutional GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. Previously I have 2 college degrees from Norway. Both of them within Electronic Engineering.
My strongest skills are within hardware/system design. I have in my years as a student designed several microprocessor and digital logic circuit. These circuits range from a talking clock using only digital logic to a speech recognition system based on a RISC processor. I've received very good on all projects I've been working on. For example, my senior project at technical college was evaluated as "way above normal standard for a technical school" while as a high school student I received a diploma for designing and building an effect stereo amplifier with sensor automatics.
These college projects has given me extensive experience and knowledge in design and programming of digital and microprocessor systems. These being programming processors in C and assembly and designing printed circuit board, with and without surface mounted devices, using schematic and PCB software.
At the moment I’m working on my senior project, which is to design an electronic book. The project will be a multiprocessor system with 2 RISC processors working together to achieve fast and good graphic and data processing. The group has had to evaluate several design solutions and different components before finishing up the final design. The group consists of one manufacturing engineering student and one software engineering student in addition to two electronic students. Part of what we have to learn is to be able to work together despite different fields.
I feel that with my long experience with microprocessor circuit design, I can immediately become a contributing member of your engineering team. If you would like more information, I would be glad to schedule an interview with you at your convenience. I can be reached by email, [email protected], or on phone at 541-882-8655, or you may leave a message on my answering machine and I will return your call as soon as possible.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to talking to you.
Sincerely,
Mounir Shita
